Jonathan’s Explosive Training Class 


This is an amazing 6-week optional program, which is specifically designed for pitchers.  Jonathan will put these pitchers through his own rigorous workout that he used in high school to be drafted straight out of high school!  We have been running this program for the past 5 years with outstanding results!  The pitchers will become physically and mentally stronger, learning to push their bodies.  The pitchers will be strengthening their core and their legs, which are both essential for maximum velocity and minimal risk of injury.  A pitcher cannot reach his/her full potential without a strong foundation.  Jonathan's workout consists of body weight, bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, and medicine balls. We are not lifting weights in the traditional sense.  We are doing a high intensity, interval training type of program.  


This is an excellent program for pitchers ages 13 and up.  So often, pitchers want to focus on their mechanics or throwing bullpens to try and increase their velocity but strengthening their body in the right way is just as important.  We separated this program from the pitching program so that players can join without joining the pitching program.  This is not mandatory as part of the pitching program but HIGHLY recommended.  


Session #1 - November 12-December 19 (Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 PM)
