Functional Baseball Movement
Introducing our newest training program, Functional Baseball Movement!
This is the next generation of training technique that introduces new elements into the process. These new techniques will vitrually guarantee success for players who have not progressed as much as they would have liked in the past. We've identified a series of baseball movement patterns that most players do not master. Naturally, if they have not mastered the most fundamental movements, it is impossible to be consistent on a baseball field. This new program will consist fo the following NEW elements:
Movement Pattern Training - Every player who participates in this program will learn a series of new movement patterns that we've identified as the most fundamental for a baseball player. These are specific movements that may only be used on a baseball field, due to the unique nature of baseball defense. These patterns will be taught WITHOUT a ball or mitt. The players will be forced to learn the correct movements before they will be allowed to advance to the next level.
Self Paced Training - Often times, a player does not perform drills correctly. The instructor may stop them and make them repeat the drill or may even make the group run or do pushups. But eventually, the instructor cannot hold the entire class back while waiting for the one student to learn the fundamental that is being taught. With self-paced training, each player must "graduate" from the class in order to be able to move on to a more advanced class. Players will not be allowed to advance to the next level until they have mastered the movements from the first class, and so on. This will allow each player to advance at their own pace for maximum results.
Three Levels of Advancement - Currently, there are three levels for advancement in this program and each player must start in the first level. We have designed the program so that players of all three levels will participate together. The instructor will advance players within the context of the training and eventually they will be eligible to graduate from the course.
